All Monsters are Human: An Unsettling Collection of Horror Stories - Volume One

Behind every ghost story and creature feature lies a far more terrifying truth: the real monsters wear human faces.

In this chilling debut from first-time author Derrick Smith, ten twisted tales expose the darkest parts of the human soul. From killers hiding in plain sight to obsessions turned deadly, each story invites you to step into a shadowed world where morality unravels and the only thing more terrifying than what lurks in the dark is who.

These aren't just horror stories; they're reflections of ourselves, showing what happens when fear, rage, guilt, and desire take control.

Reel Fear

In this work of horror fiction a paranormal investigation team struggling to remain relevant agrees to film inside a condemned asylum scheduled for demolition. What begins as staged activity and controlled storytelling quickly unravels as unexplained events, buried histories, and personal secrets surface. As the investigation spirals out of control, the team must confront the consequences of exploiting the unknown for entertainment. Reel Fear blends psychological horror with investigative realism, examining the dangers of fabrication, belief, and the spaces where history refuses to stay buried.
